Welcome to READ!

Join us in helping our children read proficiently by the end of third grade!

Researchers tell us that kids who enter kindergarten with poor early reading skills are usually poor readers in first grade and often remain poor readers all the way through high school. READ! Reading Success by 4th Grade is an Initiative of Cherish Every Child (CHECH) whose goal is to ensure that Springfield’s children read proficiently by the end of third grade, putting them on a path to school and life success.
